Review of Shanghai International Bakery Exhibition: Joint Factory Showcase Paves Way for Cheewell’s Global Journey

From May 20 to 23, 2026, the Shanghai International Bakery Exhibition was successfully held in Shanghai. At this exhibition, Jiyue (tart-shell manufacturer) and Qisida (tart-filling manufacturer) participated jointly as original manufacturers. They presented comprehensive solution of tart shells and tart fillings, drawing widespread attention from customers at home and abroad, and laying a solid business foundation for the subsequent establishment of Cheewell, an international trading company.

Note: Cheewell had not been officially founded at the time of the exhibition. The booth was jointly operated by the two production factories, Jiyue and Qisida.

At the show, Jiyue exhibited a wide range of frozen tart shells with distinct layers and crispy texture; Qisida displayed diversified baking tart fillings capable of delivering varied finished textures: icy-fresh, crisp-tender and gooey-flaky. Plenty of finished sample tarts including fruit tarts and creatively styled tarts were on display to intuitively demonstrate the practical application effect of raw materials, attracting numerous overseas purchasers, bakery brands and distributors for site visits, inquiries and business negotiations.

During the exhibition, our matched portfolio of tart-making raw materials, consistent product quality and flexible multi-scenario adaptability won high recognition from international merchants, generating abundant potential resources for global cooperation. Drawing on market feedback collected from the exhibition, Jiyue and Qisida jointly set up Cheewell, an international trading company which takes full charge of the overseas export of Jiyue tart shells and Qisida tart fillings.
